Does FusionBot support banner rotation code for inserting advertising on the results page?
The FusionBot Customization process does support limited banner rotation code for 468X60 banners on the top and bottom of the search results page for our paid subscribers. While you cannot use the Customization process to insert scripting to control the advertising banners, you can insert, during the customization process, HREF and IMG SRC links into the ad banner input boxes, which correspond to your banner rotation software.
Silver, Gold, and Platinum subscribers have complete control of the content included in their custom templates, thus enabling them to insert any code required to rotate their banners.
Below is an example utilizing the Customization process for implementing ad banners:
In the input box that requests the URL of the ad banner, you can either point to the url of a static ad banner such as:
https://www.logika.net/images/fsbanner.gif
Or you can point to the url of your ad banner rotation software that provides the appropriate image such as:
https://adserve.namedroppers.com/cgi-bin/getimage.exe/12345?REGION=nd_front
Likewise, in the input box that requests the URL of location in which the ad banner should be linked, you can either point to the url of the actual web site in which the banner should be linked such as:
https://www.first-search.com
Or you can point to the url of your ad banner rotation software that provides the appropriate link such as:
https://adserve.namedroppers.com/cgi-bin/redirect.exe/12345
